His voice immediately changed the atmosphere.

"My name is Richard Thompson. I represent senior airline operations."

He looked around the cabin.

Then his eyes stopped on Deborah and Greg.

"Ms. Lane. Mr. Foster. Please step forward."

Deborah's face changed.

She immediately understood.

Something had happened.

Something much bigger than a seating disagreement.

Greg looked nervous.

"Sir?"

Richard held up his hand.

"We need to discuss what occurred on this aircraft."

The cabin went silent.

Evelyn stepped forward confidently.

"Finally."

She smiled.

"Someone with authority."

Richard looked at her briefly.

Then back at Deborah.

"Can you explain why a passenger with a confirmed first-class reservation was pressured to surrender her seat?"

Deborah opened her mouth.

"Mr. Thompson, there was a misunderstanding between two passengers."

Richard's expression did not change.

"A misunderstanding?"

He looked at his tablet.

"Was Miss Bennett's reservation valid?"

Deborah hesitated.

"Yes."

"Was seat 1A assigned to her?"

"Yes."

"Was there any operational reason requiring her to move?"

Silence.

Greg lowered his head.

Richard slowly looked up.

"Then explain why she was asked to leave her assigned seat."

Nobody answered.

Because there was no good answer.

Evelyn stepped forward.

"I believe there are details you are missing."

Richard turned toward her.

"Miss Stokes, this matter concerns airline employees and procedures."

"But—"

"Please allow me to finish."

His tone was polite.

But firm.

Evelyn stopped.

Richard returned his attention to the crew.

"This airline does not remove passengers from valid reservations because another passenger believes they are more important."

The words landed heavily.

Angela remained silent.

But she noticed something.

For the first time since boarding, someone in authority was looking at the situation clearly.

Not at status.

Not at reputation.

At the facts.

Richard continued.

"Customer loyalty programs exist to reward loyalty."

"They do not give anyone permission to disrespect other customers."

Greg's face turned pale.

Deborah looked down.

Richard took a breath.

"Effective immediately, both of you are removed from passenger-facing duties pending a full review."

Deborah looked shocked.

"Mr. Thompson, please. We were trying to keep the situation calm."

Richard nodded slightly.

"I understand."

"But keeping the situation calm does not mean asking the wrong person to surrender their rights."

The cabin stayed silent.

A few passengers exchanged approving looks.

Richard turned toward Angela.

"Miss Bennett."

Angela looked up.

"On behalf of the airline, I apologize."

His voice was sincere.

"What happened here should never have happened."

Angela nodded.
