Clare ignored her and placed a small packet on Maya's tray table.

Peanuts.

For a moment, Maya only looked at the packet.

It was blue, sealed, ordinary.

The kind of thing handed out on airplanes without thought.

But after everything she had said, after the email, after the label, after Lena's warning, the packet looked deliberate.

Maya lifted her eyes.

"I told you I can't have peanuts."

Clare folded her arms.

"Then don't eat them."

Lena's voice rose.

"Are you serious? She told you she has allergies."

Clare snapped back.

"First class only has this left. Eat it or don't."

The older woman across the aisle gasped.

Her husband whispered her name, but she shook him off.

"That is cruel," the woman said.

Clare turned on her.

"Ma'am, I need you to stay out of this."

"No," the woman said, surprising even herself. "I have stayed out of it long enough."

Samuel Reed nodded once.

Slowly, Maya picked up the packet with two fingers and placed it beside her printed confirmation email where both cameras could see it.

"For the record," she said, her voice quieter now, "after being told I have allergies and a confirmed medical meal, Crestline Airways has offered me peanuts."

Lena's thumb hit post.

The first video went live.

Ethan saw the motion.

"Did you just upload that?"

Lena looked him in the eye.

"Yes."

Clare took a step back.

"You can't do that."

"I did."

Ethan's voice dropped.

"You may have exposed yourself to legal action."

Lena did not blink.

"Good. Then your lawyers can watch it too."

Victoria set her coffee down hard enough that it spilled slightly into the saucer.

"This is outrageous. I want her removed too."

Lena turned toward her.

"You want the nurse removed from the passenger you helped endanger?"

"I helped no one endanger anyone," Victoria said. "I accepted a meal I was given."

"With her name on it."

"I never looked at the label."

Samuel spoke from 2C.

"No. But you heard all of us say it."

Victoria's face tightened.

"You people are enjoying this."

Maya looked at her.

"No one is enjoying this."

Victoria's eyes moved to the peanut packet, then to Maya's shaking hand.

She looked away before guilt could become visible.

Lena checked her phone.

The video had eight views.

Then 32.

Then 112.

She kept her voice low.

"It's starting."

Maya did not ask what.

She knew.

Ethan stepped closer to Maya, bending slightly so the rest of the cabin would have to strain to hear him.

"Miss Williams, I am giving you one final opportunity. Turn off your phone, stop encouraging other passengers to interfere, and I will note in my report that you calmed down."

Maya looked tired now, but her eyes remained clear.

"I am not encouraging anyone. They are responding to what you are doing."
